Adoption Timeline

Adoption timeline- all adoption blogs I have read have a timeline! Our journey is just beginning but it is encouraging to have dates to look back on to see how far we have come!

June 2013- Venable's got married!!
October 2014- started to think about having a family
March 2015-started trying for a family

PRAYED

September 2016- Learned there were some major obstacles in the way

December 2016-went to an adoption meeting
January 2017- Decided we wanted to adopt/ and made our adoption announcement. Started saving and fundraising
May 2017- applied to FAC and got our application approved!
June 2017- choose a home study agency and filled out clearances and applications
July 2017- got our home study DATES!!!
August 2017- had our adoption shower! All home study scheduled for this month!!!!

August 2017- HOMESTUDY DONE and FINALIZED
November 2017- Profile book completed, ALL documents mailed to FAC
