We Are Active!

The Venables are officially ACTIVE

Thank you again for all your continued support! We wanted to explain a little more about what being active means, it is a VERY big celebration for us! So we finished our homestudy and signed on with Faithful Adoption Consultants (FAC). They are absolutely the best, we worked with them on our journey to Mya as well. Nothing but awesome things to say about them, the love they have for adoption and the support they give through every part of the process are just a few reasons we choose them for a second time. Once our homestudy was completed we had a bunch of paperwork to complete and send to FAC… we also made a family profile book. The profile book has lots of pictures and explains who we are, hobbies, occupations and our dreams for the future of our children. That is what the expectant mother looks at when choosing a family for her baby. BIG DEAL Y'ALL. FAC got our paperwork and profile book Monday, they take a few days to review then you become ACTIVE!

This means we have finished all of the paperwork and we are ready to get cases and have our profile book shown to expectant mothers! FAC has an average waiting period of four months for a "match". With Mya we were matched in 27 days, we are hoping for another quick match but know that it can take time.

Please pray for the expectant mothers looking at profile books. Pray for the ease of finding the forever family for her baby. That God would grant her peace with whatever decision she chooses. As well as her health through delivery and with this pandemic going on!
