In The Waiting

We are currently in the waiting period...one of the hardest parts.

During the waiting period we get cases of expectant mothers (checking my email every two minutes) that are choosing adoption for their baby or babies. We get important information about them and we choose if we want our profile book presented to them. If we say yes then they see our profile, along with the profiles of other families that say yes, and they choose a family for their baby. Some cases have due dates just a few weeks away and others are months away!

Our profile book includes little facts about our family and LOTS of pictures, desire for adoption, and our home. This is what the expectant mother sees to choose a forever family for her baby! 

Waiting is hard. We have been wanting to be a family of four for awhile so waiting is not easy. Our wait for Mya was only 27 days, and I think it is easy to forget that part once you get news you are going to be parents. We have been waiting for two months so far. I know that someday we will get matched and that this wait makes it that much sweeter. I also know once we get matched the wait period will be over and all the excitment will start! We pray God is preparing our hearts to be parents to this precious baby that we will someday call ours. We are blessed to have an opportunity to pray over these expectant mommas and their families. We just can't wait ❤
